Academics are only part of the picture. We help students build the practical, real-world skills they need to move confidently into adulthood, whether that means landing a first job, understanding money, or figuring out what path makes sense after high school.
Life Coaching (Ages 17-21)
One-on-one coaching for teens and young adults navigating independence, decision-making, motivation, and the transition into adulthood.
Parental Coaching
Helping parents build awareness of their student's profile and learn practical ways to support them at home.
Career Coaching (Ages 20-25)
Resume building, mock interviews, internship exploration, career option exploration, and networking skills.
Personal Finance Training
Practical financial literacy taught by a finance-background student and/or CPA, covering budgeting, saving, and credit.
Student Advocacy
We teach students how to advocate for themselves and their rights, how to communicate effectively with teachers and professors, request accommodations, ask for help, and resolve concerns respectfully and confidently.
Washington State Is Moving Toward Required Life Skills Education
In July 2026, State Superintendent Chris Reykdal proposed a new mandatory, yearlong class for Washington high school seniors called the Postsecondary Launch Course. Students would learn practical life skills before graduating, including how to build a resume, register to vote, and apply to jobs, colleges, and the military. The course would combine the existing semester-long civics requirement with a second semester of financial literacy and postsecondary readiness.
The proposal goes to state lawmakers during the 2027 legislative session, and if approved would take effect in the 2030-31 school year. In other words, the state is formally recognizing what we have believed all along: these skills matter just as much as academics, and students should not be left to figure them out on their own after graduation.
Our Coaching program already covers this ground today. Students working with us now are building resumes, practicing interviews, and learning how money actually works, years ahead of any statewide requirement. Read more at The Seattle Times.
