Special Education & Neurodivergent Support

Specialists in learning differences, accommodations, and IEP/504 advocacy.

What This Role Does

Our Special Education and Neurodivergent Support specialists work with students whose learning profiles call for a different approach, including ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, anxiety, and other learning differences. This role combines subject instruction with a deep understanding of how these profiles affect learning, adapting pacing, materials, and the learning environment to fit the individual student rather than expecting the student to adapt. They also support families through the IEP and 504 process, helping draft and review documentation, advocating when a student's rights are not being honored, and sustaining the annual review so plans keep pace as the student grows.
