Getting Started

How do I get started with ClubZ! Academy?

What ages and grade levels do you support?
We support students from Pre-K through college and into young adulthood. See our Pre-K and grade-level guide for younger students, or our Coaching programs for teens and young adults ages 17-25.
Is ClubZ! Academy tutoring available near me in King County, Washington?

How much does tutoring cost?

Neurodivergent & Learning Support

Do you offer tutoring for a child with ADHD, dyslexia, or autism?
Yes. We specialize in neurodivergent-affirming support, including ADHD coaching, ASD coaching, dyslexia support, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia. Visit our Learning Support Hub to see everything we cover in one place.
How does neurodivergent tutoring actually work at ClubZ! Academy?
We start by understanding your student's specific profile, not applying a one-size-fits-all curriculum. Instructors adapt pacing, communication style, and strategies to how your child actually thinks and works, and we coordinate a full team — from Subject Matter Experts to Special Education specialists — around each student.
Can you help with 504 plans and IEP accommodations?
Yes. Our Special Education & Neurodivergent Support specialists help families understand accommodations, prepare for school meetings, and advocate effectively. Our Parental Coaching program also covers navigating school systems and IEP/504 meetings directly with parents.
Do you offer parent coaching, not just student tutoring?
Yes. Our Parental Coaching program helps parents navigate learning differences, motivation, behavior, communication, and executive functioning at home, so progress continues between sessions.

Test Prep & Academics

Do you offer SAT or ACT prep for students with dyslexia or other learning differences?
Yes. Our SAT/PSAT and ACT/PreACT prep is built around each student's pacing and needs, including accommodations and strategies for students with dyslexia and other learning differences. See our full Test Prep hub for ACT, SAT, ISEE/SSAT, ASVAB, GRE, GED, LSAT, and MCAT.
What subjects do you tutor?
Math (elementary through Calculus), science, and English Language Arts, plus Spanish and Mandarin. See our full Subject Tutoring page for the complete list.
Do you support homeschool families?
Yes. We support all four Washington homeschooling paths (HBI, umbrella/cover school, ALE/parent partnership, and digital/virtual programs). Visit our Homeschooling page for details on each option.

How We Work

What is the difference between an Instructor, Consultant, and Subject Matter Expert?
Instructors are your student's day-to-day point of contact for regular sessions. Subject Matter Experts handle complex, advanced content in specific subjects. Consultants guide families through college admissions. See our About Our Team page for a full breakdown of every role.
Do you offer 1:1 tutoring or group sessions?
Nearly all sessions are 1:1. Small-group sessions are available only for twins, siblings of similar age, or classmates in the same class at the same school. See our Class Structure page for session lengths and full details.
